Terms and Conditions



These terms and conditions refer to accommodation at Casa Travadell unless otherwise stated.


Terms of Booking & Booking Deposit:

By placing a booking with Travadell Cycling Ltd. you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.


Booking Process:

To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age and all other guests must also be 18 years or over. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, no third party visitors are allowed.

To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance, the amount will be shown on the website booking page.

Balance must be paid according to the dates shown on the individual holiday..

Payments can be made online by debit / credit card as well as by digital bank transfer. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonoured bank transfers or any other payments must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.

All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners.



N.B. You should not book any flights or other travel arrangements until it is confirmed by us that the holiday will go ahead.


Insurance:

Adequate insurance is strongly recommended on all of our holidays. You should ensure that the policy covers cycle touring (not all do) as well as health and repatriation as well as cancellation


Check-in & Check-out:

Each hotel/guest house will have their own times and we will inform you of these.


Cancellation charges:

Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible.

Please see the individual cancellation policy for your holiday.

Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit the full amount of the booking and no refund will be made. It is strongly recommended that guests take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance on booking their holiday so that in the event you need to cancel your trip your payment will be recoverable from your insurer. We will issue a cancellation invoice for this purpose.
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made to us.


N.B. Cancellation if one of two people sharing a room cancels.

If you have booked a sharing room and you or your room mate cancels, the following will apply.

If you cancel, the normal cancellation policy above will apply. If your room mate cancels, the following will apply.

If the person cancelling has only paid the deposit, you must either transfer your booking to a single room and pay the single supplement or, if you do not wish to do this you can receive a refund of your monies paid and cancel your booking.

If the balance has already been paid by the person cancelling, you may retain your original booking.



Smoking:

Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is not permitted. This applies to all accommodation.


Pets:

Pets are not accepted in any accommodation.


Your Personal Details & Privacy:

We are required to keep a register of guests over the age of 18 who stay with us, this includes full names and nationality, and/or passport numbers, place of issue. This is in accordance with Spanish regulations. These records are kept for a minimum of 3 years and in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Your personal details will be kept for the purposes of managing your booking only, and will not be passed to any third party. We may keep your details to let you know of any future offers we may have. If you do not want us to keep your details, let us know and we will delete them from our records.

Information we will need to manage your booking may include:

Name, address, telephone number, email address and other information which you may supply to us to manage your booking (room requests, dietary requirements etc.).

You accept that any entries you make to an on-site guest book, if available, will not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed. Any entries containing personal details that may fall into GDPR may be removed and destroyed.


Our Right to Cancellation:

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.
